In September, Salta congratulates Amanda Carneiro from Brazil to having been chosen as a resident to the City of Munich’s Villa Waldberta, Feldafing, Germany. Carneiro is an assistant curator at the Museu de Arte de São Paulo (MASP) and co-editor of Afterall: a Journal of art, context and enquiry. Carneiro says she is looking forward to using today’s crises to shed light on conflicts buried beneath the quotidian routine of ordinary life.
