An Art Student in Munich by Mercedes Azpilicueta

21 Mar, 2025 - 18 May, 2025

Salvatorplatz 4, Luitpoldblock, 80333 Munich

Salta art presents an exhibition by Argentinean artist Mercedes Azpilicueta in Munich. Drawing on the book "An Art Student in Munich" by Anna Mary Howitt, Azpilicueta connects Howitt’s protofeminist perspective to themes of diversity, equity and inclusion. Through tapestry, performance, and installation, she reclaims overlooked female legacies, shedding light on women's struggles and contributions to art.

Exhibition Opening: Friday, March 21st at 6pm
