Metamorphic animals by Maria Noujaim

Wednesday, 14 September, 2022
5:00 pm

Meet at Schwabinggrad, Theresienstrasse 154, 80333 Munich

In this workshop we explored, through dance and movement, the structure of metamorphic animals, hybrid and mythological beings in the body. Our aim was to research the possibilities of bodies in a multi-species perspective and landscape, where the human is just one more form in the larger web of forms of life.

MAMA described its experience creating a ‘space to reflect’ from three vantage points: as a concept, as an artwork, and as a sustainable resource. By arriving just after the opening at documenta 15, MAMA brought a bit of documenta 15 to Munich.
