Moderated by curator Jana Baumann, the dialogue brings together two influential Chilean artists to reflect on exile, memory, spirituality, and resistance.

The residency is a collaboration between the City of Munich Department of Arts and Culture and Salta art, in partnership with ERA Foundation.

Buenos Aires–based artist Emilia de las Carreras (b. 1988) has been selected by Salta art’s jury and the City of Munich Department of Arts and Culture to participate in the AIR-M Ebenböckhaus Residency in Munich from July 7th to September 24th, 2026. The residency is a collaboration between the City of Munich Department of Arts and Culture and Salta art, in partnership with ERA Foundation.

Brazilian curator Ariana Nuala has been selected by Salta art’s jury and the City of Munich Department of Arts and Culture, upon the nomination of Pivô Salvador, to participate in the AIR-M Ebenböckhaus Curatorial Residency in Munich from August 25th to September 24th, 2026. The residency is a collaboration between the City of Munich Department of Arts and Culture and Salta art, in partnership with Pivô Salvador.
We look forward to accompanying her research during the residency.

Studio grant

Salta art Studio Grant

The new Salta art Studio Grant supports recently graduated, Munich-based artists with five months of shared studio access in Maxvorstadt (February–June 2026), including a materials budget and access to MakerSpace Munich. The grant fosters artistic exchange and supports artists at a formative stage of their practice.

In 2026, the grant is awarded to Carmen Arias.
